Camping during the lockdown

What do you do when your kids are desperate to get out in nature but the country is in a lock down? We had to get creative.

Camping

We went camping on the roof of our apartment building.

We were treated to some amazing views of the mountains at sunrise.

Christine and our other daughter Amelia were more sensible and decided to sleep indoors.

Praise God for amazing views in our beautiful city of Arequipa!

About Us

Hi, I'm David! Meet my lovely wife Christine, our twins Annabelle, Amelia and little Samuel. We are so grateful for the privilege we have to serve God in Peru. Hope you will share in our journey.

What are we doing?

David works on SIM Latin America's websites which have seen a huge growth in last few years. These empower Latin Americans to get involved in missions. Most recently he worked on a project to get food to thousands of refugees - he was responsible for an application that managed the logistics of getting food to people.

Christine is an Ambassador for the World Parkinson Congress, helps to connect Parkisons associations in Latin America and advocates for Parkinsons awareness.

Where are we?:

Working on Student Ministry with SIM in Latin America, South America, Amazonas, Peru
