Last Sunday night we joined in the anniversary service for one of the local churches. One of our church musicians, Davíd, is a member of a local Christian band -- Inspiración Andina -- that plays a traditional Andean form of music. So they really helped crank things up! It was wonderful to see how the Andean rhythms just 'gelled' so quickly with everyone; towards the end of the set many were on their feet shouting and clapping.
