March 2016: "Jeyachandran Family"

We started Arequipa English with a bang! Literally! An electrical transformer on the street burst into flames and our street lost electricity. Our evening  suddenly became a candlelight affair (plus phones with torches/ flashlights). Tonight was our “Welcome to Peru” night for two new missionaries, Anna and Laura, who will work here in Arequipa - Anna for a year and Laura for two. We enjoyed dancing, local customs and food and traditional music, all by students of Arequipa English.
